Use this 1-meter-long titanium pipe for exhaust, intercooler, intake, and other custom fabrication projects. This is a straight section with a 1.0 mm wall.

Near-Mirror Polished Finish

This titanium tube has been polished to a near-mirror finish, something that is extremely difficult to achieve with titanium. Because of the metals high strength, ductility, and low thermal conductivity, titanium wears down abrasives quickly and is prone to smearing or discoloration from friction heat. Our polishing process produces an exceptionally clean, high-quality finish without applying a coating.

Lightweight, Strong, and Corrosion Resistant

This pipe works extremely well for intercooler piping, exhaust piping, or any build where strength, corrosion resistance, and ultra-low weight matter. Titanium provides an exceptional strength-to-weight ratio while remaining naturally resistant to corrosion and high-temperature exhaust environments.

The material is TA1 Commercially Pure (CP) Titanium. Grade 1 titanium is known for its high ductility, outstanding corrosion resistance, and excellent weldability, making it an excellent choice for systems exposed to vibration, temperature changes, and long-term use.

Controlled Factory-Welded Seam

This tubing is manufactured from formed titanium with a controlled longitudinal factory weld. Weld quality is especially important with titanium because the metal becomes highly reactive at welding temperatures. Inadequate shielding can allow oxygen, nitrogen, or hydrogen to contaminate the heated titanium, potentially producing a brittle weld that is more susceptible to cracking.

A properly controlled factory seam provides more consistent shielding, penetration, and alignment than an improvised or unnecessary weld made during fabrication.

Fewer Welds and Fewer Potential Stress Points

Exhaust tubing repeatedly expands as it heats and contracts as it cools. Over time, these thermal cycles can concentrate stress around welds, particularly when combined with engine movement and vibration. Starting with a full 1-meter section allows the fabricator to use longer continuous runs and reduce the number of welded joints required in the finished system.

For changes in direction, pair this straight pipe with our mandrel-bent titanium tubing. Mandrel bends maintain a smooth internal passage and consistent tube diameter while eliminating the numerous pie-cut sections and welds otherwise needed to create a bend.

  • Fewer potential stress and failure points
  • Less opportunity for weld contamination or inconsistency
  • A smoother internal path for exhaust flow
  • A cleaner, more professional finished appearance

Compatible With Titanium V-Band Rings

Our titanium V-band rings can also be welded to the tubing to create strong, compact, and easily serviceable connections. Because both the rings and tubing are titanium, they have closely matched thermal-expansion characteristics. This helps reduce the differential expansion and concentrated weld stress that can occur when dissimilar metals are joined together.

The pipe can be installed as-is, cut down to achieve a precise fit, or divided into multiple pieces, providing outstanding versatility and value for custom fabrication work.
